D.C, Delaware, and Maryland State Meeting at Delaware State University

The DC and Maryland Districts will convene for a mandatory State Meeting on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Delaware State University in the Bank of America Building. This is a critical working meeting designed to align chapters, strengthen leadership, and prepare brothers for upcoming regional and national initiatives.

Attendance is required for all newly initiated brothers from Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 lines, as well as for all chapter leadership, including Polari and executive board members. Any brother intending to serve as a Dean or Assistant Dean of Pledges must also be present. While mandatory for these groups, all brothers from the DC and Maryland Districts are strongly encouraged to attend and contribute.

The meeting will include leadership development, a review of fraternal systems and portals, preparation for regional awards, headshots, recruitment strategy, and a discussion on expectations of IOTA men. A cookout will follow on the Gamma Plot for continued fellowship.

Dress code includes an Iota polo (brown or yellow), cardigan, or a white dress shirt with a gold or brown tie and khakis. A fraternal blazer is encouraged for those who don't possess an Iota Polo in brown or gold.

This meeting is an opportunity to sharpen our focus, unify our direction, and reinforce our commitment to excellence in leadership and brotherhood.
